Rectanglare started in 2019 with a simple observation: most professionals spend 8 or more hours a day staring at screens, yet almost nobody deliberately designs how those screens are organized.
We saw engineers with $3,000 MacBook setups struggling with cluttered desktops. Designers with dual ultrawide monitors who still dragged windows around manually. Managers with 47 open tabs and zero system for finding the right one.
So we built a studio dedicated to one thing: making digital workspaces work. We combine deep knowledge of macOS and cross-platform tools with an understanding of how real people actually work — their habits, interruptions, and focus patterns.
We believe that a well-organized workspace is not a luxury — it is a fundamental tool for clear thinking. When your environment supports your workflow instead of fighting it, everything else gets easier: deeper focus, faster switching, fewer mistakes, less fatigue.
Every configuration decision we make is measured against one metric: does it save time? We do not add complexity for its own sake. If a simpler setup works, we recommend it.
Our recommendations are grounded in workflow research, not personal preference. We track what works, measure outcomes, and continuously refine our approach based on real data from real teams.
Tools are only as good as the habits around them. We spend more time understanding how you work than installing software. The best workspace is one you actually use every day.
